Welcome to SmartBlock – the Magnet and Pathway Conference 2026 hotel housing request site! This is for requesting 10 or more rooms each night.

The American Nurses Association is excited that you are planning to attend this year. We continue to utilize the services of Connections Housing, the official housing provider. Room requests are assigned on a first come, first served basis.

By booking with Connections Housing, you are supporting the conference ensuring they can keep registration rates low, negotiate the best room rates, meeting space, and the best rates for future annual meeting cities.

Attendee:

If you are an attendee and not participating in any pre-conference workshops, you would check-in on Wednesday and check-out on Saturday.

Exhibitor:

If you are an exhibitor, and responsible for booth move in you would check-in on Tuesday or Wednesday depending on your internal schedule and check-out on Friday or Saturday depending on your travel itinerary. 

Move In:

Tuesday, October 27^th: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Wednesday, October 28^th: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Exhibits Open: 

Thursday, October 29^th: 11:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Friday, October 30^th: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Move Out:

Any time after 3:30 PM on Friday, October 30^th

Before proceeding, please note the housing policies within SmartBlock. 

• Conference ends at 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 31, 2026 (end time subject to change)
• Rooming List Deadline Date: Thursday, August 6, 2026
• If applicable, check payments must be received by Thursday, August 20, 2026
• Hotel Map & Rate Sheet are available in the "Event Info" tab
• Bed types/ Room types are a request and cannot be guaranteed
• Main days of stay are check in Wednesday and check out Saturday
• You must rank your hotel choices 1-6 before it will let you continue to the step

IMPORTANT:  After completing this online form, a Connections Housing representative will call the phone number provided to obtain a credit card to secure your rooms. Your room request will not be processed until the credit card information is obtained. Connections Housing will NOT charge the credit card provided.

The hotels reserve the right to charge one night's room and tax deposit on or after October 6th, 2026 (date is subject to change)

Prepaid Reservation Cancellation or Reservation Change Fee

Groups prepaying their reservations are subject to the following policy:

Any changes or cancellations made on or after Sunday, September 27, 2026, will result in a $250 processing fee per reservation, per change. This will be a non-refundable fee and will be withdrawn from the remittance payment.

Please note: Any refunds due back to the group will be less any incurred processing fees, if applicable.

Prepaid reservations that no-show are non-refundable.

Shuttle Service Information: There will be a shuttle service provided to/from the McCormick Place Convention Center for the Conference days Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Below are the hotels that are within walking distance to the McCormick Place Convention Center and will not be included in the hotel shuttle service.
